Episode 178

Dimensions of Being

Most of us know what it’s like to receive inspiration, to have an idea, perhaps one that seems to come out of nowhere, and think “that would be nice”. Some people have the uncommon habit of writing down those ideas, bringing them into the second dimension – a little closer to being fully real.

Having them on the page, it’s much easier to take action, embodying the idea in the third dimension. Then to form a habit across time, the fourth dimension.

Having transformed through the process, it’s natural that someone will say “Wow, what you’ve done is so inspiring!” Then they might even write down their thoughts, take action, and create a habit. That is when our thoughts enter the fifth dimension – changing the personal universe of another.

When you receive inspiration, where will you take it?

Welcome beautiful thinkers.

I was thinking bout something my friend Maverick Wilson told me back in 2016.

He was talking about how thoughts become reality and he said “when you have a thought that’s a one dimensional expression and as soon as you begin by writing it down or perhaps by speaking it, you bring it into the second dimension”

So it’s already gaining some momentum and starting to be real. Some people talk about writing out ones goal. The more times you write out a goal, the more likely it is to occur. The more likely you are to achieve it.

I used to do this by writing the goal 20 times on a page like writing lines.

The better way is to space it out every time. Review the goal every day or every hour.

That’s the way we keep ourselves on track. Then when we take action on that goal or that idea we begin to bring it into the 3rd dimension.

I kept thinking about this idea. Just recently I did this workshop using cognitive behavioral techniques when I was at the Greater Reset in Zijuantanejo, Guerrero.

I said to the guys I think it’s a step beyond that. I think when we continue to do the aciton over time we make it a habit and bring it into the fourth dimension and bring it into time.

Then when we inspire others to take action we bring it into the fifth dimension because we aren’t just changing things for ourselves in our own world, our own private universe. We’re actually helping others see a way to change themselves.

AS my friend Mr Battle used to say changing the world one world at a time.

Imagine that, imagine if you start with inaction and you have a thought an write it down and bring it into being through your actions, through your habits and then you find later perhaps without even realizing, perhaps without it having occurred to you someone says perhaps years down the treck someone says they were inspired to take action.

They thought, if you can, maybe I can. Maybe I can change and transform and bring a vision of myself into this world.

Maybe you can remember a time when you saw a friend you haven’t seen for a year or more and they actually start to change their lives significantly and transform to be more confident and outgoing. Expressing themselves in a way you thought was authentic and you thought “Wow this person is doing it.”

You might have what they call in Latin America “envidia de la buena” which is like kind hearted envy.

Everyone is familiar with mean hearted envy. There’s a bit of resentment that goes with it but what is it like to feel that kind hearted envy and think “Wow, that person is doing it and I would like that. Maybe I could have some of that. Maybe I could be more confident.”

We;re all only human apart from the cyborgs that live among us.

We all have that capacity to transform ourselves.

And what happens when you take that first step and transform yourself and a year or so later you run into another friend and they say “Wow, you’ve really changed and really developed something in yourself.”

It never occurred to me that you could do that, that you could transform so much and achieve so much and they tell you that you are an inspiration.

What does it feel like to inspire others?

To bring them to a place where they have the courage to follow their dreams?

Thank you for listening. Thank you for bringing your ideas into this world by receiving insight and taking action and creating habits over time

Thank you for transforming, thank you for being an inspiration.
