Eating Well with Giorgia Catt

by | Oct 30, 2020 | interviews, podcast | 0 comments

Giorgia Catt is an English teacher and world traveler, having lived in Thailand, Vietnam, France and Mexico, among other places.

In this interview, Giorgia explains the story of being 19 years old in Melbourne, studying a double degree of psychology and law, plus a diploma, in addition to managing a café… finally to realise that she was putting so much pressure on herself that she had developed an eating disorder.

Giorgia explains how she found a way out of her problems, by moving to Bangkok and realising that, to survive in that environment, she must relax her standards around what she considered appropriate conditions of when to eat.

Giorgia describes her meditation technique of sitting with an emotion, realising that the anxiety and thoughts she had around food were only temporary, eventually finding a path to greater happiness and playing in the world.
