Episode 163

Music In Your Soul

Colombian singer-songwriter Darwin Grajales penned this lyric: “Cuando hay música en tu alma, la oye todo el universo.” When there is music in your soul, the whole universe hears it.

Many spiritual people, and even some scientifically minded, talk about the ideas of a fractal universe or a holographic universe. The idea is if you look at any individual part of the universe, you will find a kind of blueprint for the whole universe. The part contains the whole, and the whole contains every part.

Kary Mullis, inventor of the PCR process, said that by using the process, one could find “just about anything in just about anyone”, saying that it made him partial to the Buddhist idea that everything contains everything else.

If that is the case, even making a small change within ourselves might echo through all that exists. Doing whatever work or joyful growth to create music in our souls, perhaps it really will be heard by the universe.

Welcome beautiful thinkers.

Let’s talk about about when there’s music in your soul.

I was just listening back to one of these episodes before I published it, it’s probably now published and called Squeeze a little Happiness.

I was talking about paying attention to your own body and directing your energy inward to the solar plexus, where seats the vagus nerve and seats happiness.

The seats of our parasympathetic nervous system. The systems that reinvigorate us and get activated during meditation.

I was thinking this is good, this is a good thing I am doing here. Not in an arrogant way but a confident way, thinking of my own work and being proud of it.

I do believe I am doing something good that is going to help others. I was thinking of those words from the artist Darwin Grajales the singer songwriter. The title of the song escapes me but in the chorus he says “Cuando hay música en tu alma, la oye todo el universo”

When there is music in your soul, a whole universe will hear it.

Yesterday I was listening to the audiobook from Russ called It’s All In Your Head. Russ is a hip hop producer and he’s talking about how important it is to believe in yourself from a young age, 14 years old starting as a hip hop producer.

He believed so much everything he made was dope, even when others would hear it and not agree. He believed so much in himself, that he had something special to offer.

I used to listen to Tupak Shakur and he had this lyric, he said these words “I knew I was gonna be a star.”

Sometimes its a bit funny to think about that because he did become a star. Many people listen to his music after his death, he produced so much music they kept releasing it after his death.

Its easy to say that “Oh I always knew it was gonna be like that.”

Maybe we all have that feeling, that we have something special to offer the world.

Some of us lose touch with it and some of us hold on to it and keep fanning that flame that little light that’s always within us.

They’re saying yes there is something special, I do have something unique to offer the world.

This world would not be the same without you in fact you are an integral part of the Universe. That I truly believe.

Without you, without that special piece that slots into the world and fits in exactly, perhaps this world wouldn’t exist.

People talk about the fractal or holographic universe means that one piece contains the potential for all other parts.

This is interesting a lot of people are talking about Coronavirus and the PCR test and you go listen to interviews with Kary Mullis, the inventor of the PCR process and he says “when you look for something, do enough cycles enough times you will find almost anything in almost anyone. It does make you think of this Buddhist concept, perhaps everything is in everything else.

Ties into the concept of the holographic universe.

That might be a little out there for some people but I think it’s true. Every body, every piece in this puzzle has a perfect resonance, perfect part to play.

To send out that melody into the universe. So when you have music in your soul the whole universe will hear.

Thank you for listening, thank you for playing that music in your soul. Thank you for keeping that light aflame so it can light up the lights of others.

Thank you.
