Please Be Gentle

I don’t really like trying to tell people how to live their lives.

In this podcast I like to day is ask interesting questions, add suggestions perhaps even some provocations but in this case I would ask you to do a humble request and my humble request is please be gentle.

So in intimate relations, some people call this the game. Men out there trying to meet women and date women and hopefully get into a romantic relationship with a woman calling it a game which in some way it can diminish how intensely personal the experience of meeting people with the hope of getting into a relationship can be.

And trying to even say its like a video game and try and distance ourselves so when the inevitable happens and we get rejected or dumped or something tragic happens, we can say it’s part of the game and we don’t feel it in our hearts.

WE detach ourselves from those emotions. When we meet someone and get involved with someone intimately maybe even physically, every time, every single time we have someone’s heart in our hands and no matter how it ends up for our own purposes we might not end up seeing them again, we have an opportunity through our presence to help a person see a different side of themselves.

We have the opportunity to allow someone in whatever moment to be vulnerable and feel accepted. Those most intimate parts of themselves are welcome with us in those moments so perhaps they might even give them to the world.

Give the world their purest essence. Every time. Every time.

We have their heart in our hands that’s why I ask you my humble request please be gentle.
