Run to Play in the World with Arran Rogerson

by | Sep 11, 2020 | interviews, podcast | 0 comments

Arran Rogerson is one of the hosts of the Golden Shadow podcast, a show that illustrates how psychology can be applicable in our lives, using the work of Jung. He’s also the host of The Torch, a YouTube series exploring evolutionary psychology and the history of humanity.

Arran tells us a story from his past, starting when he was about 10 years old, in middle school and depressed, unsure of his own social standing and of the changes that seem to be happening to his peer group.

Soon he is in high school and discovers running as a competitive pastime, with enough of a social element to form friendships, but with enough of a solitary element to be a worthwhile nerdy pursuit.

In this interview we find out how someone’s life can change by starting small, by taking action in faith, trying new things, and keeping a mindset of playfulness.
