Show Them Your Heart at Anarchapulco
A lot of people have an unproductive habit of arguing with people on the Internet. In extreme cases, they continue with a Facebook thread for months or years, unsuccessfully trying to get their point across.
Two people can call names and get angry at each other, just getting more and more fixed in their positions. Neither benefit from the interaction. So perhaps there are other ways to communicate.
In this presentation from Anarchapulco 2021, Kurt explains how he decided to change his mind from someone inteannt on being analytical and argumentative, to a person who thought a bit more about compassion.
In the meantime, he was deported from Mexico and found himself being accompanied back to Australia by two officials. Would he get into arguments with them, or make friends with them?
